So many of the shoe covers and made for the road shoe and don't fit well over touring/sneaker type shoes with SPD cleats. Whats a good shoe cover for that type of shoe?

I got these Louis Garneaus (http://www.louisgarneau.com/us-en/product/305541/1083077/Shoe_Covers/POWER_SEAL_SHOE_COVER) and they fit great over my bulky, sneaker-like Shimano commuter shoes with SPD cleats. I sized UP - got an XL to fit over my size 44 shoes. Works like a champ!

We've had good luck with Potenza...Now sold under the brand XLC.

I've heard good stuff about the XLC's, too. Maybe next year.

I have the Sugoi Resister Toe Covers (http://www.sugoi.com/usa/eng/Products/Accessories/Men/Shoe-Covers/Details/1527-95052U-Resistor-Toe-Cover). They only come in one size but they fit beautifully over my Vasque hiking shoes that I use with my BMX pedals.

I have yet have had a chance to USE them :( but they slip on quite easily and they leave a little room.

I use Sidetrak neoprene booties

over a pair of Shimano SPD commuting shoes.

I got my booties at a yard sale for $1. They did have a seam that I had to repair.
Good things come from yard sales.
