Do as many push ups as you can in 30 seconds. You must go down to nearly the floor. I had a small cushy ball under my chest to help me gauge how far.
First set: 20 push ups.
Second set: 17 push ups
Third set: 20 push ups.
It was easy to push out the first 10 - 12 super fast. But then it starts to hurt...
I'd like to be able to do 30. :D

I tried. I did 10, then 3, then 0. I guess that's something to work toward. ;)

My trainer can do 65 in a minute. She's aiming for 80. She's going to be heading to the CHP academy in a few months (boohoo!) and that's the record, held by a guy naturally and she wants to break it.

Veronica, I want to be you when I grow up.
I've progressed to the point where I can do a mere 4 "half" push-ups, by which I mean men's pushups that I can do only if I only go down halfway. (If I go any further, I can't get up at all. :o)
I've committed to doing the 100 pushups program....

I need to work in this area. If I do them back to back to back with only 30 seconds rest between, I get 19, 16, and 14.
I look forward to revisiting this test and performing more consistently in the future. ;) 100 push up challenge, here we come. I know I can do over 50, and I think I had the wii fiit challenge up to 75, but stopped there.
