So I got snuckered into cyber Monday shopping. Just couldn't pass up the sale at the company store.

My comforter isn't threadbare, its down-fill-bare. When you lift it up, you can literally see through. This is not a good thing when I will be living in Troutdale in about one month time. It gets cold up there. There high is Los Angeles' low (temperature)...

So bought a comforter on sale.... then found a deal on other bedding items... then a bootie...

Well the good thing is, I wasn't snuckered in by the Black Friday shopping. That's all I got to say!!!

Maybe I can sleep without shivering at night. Did anyone else get caught up in the cyber deals??

Not this year. I was contemplating buying some tea and something for DBF, but the bank account is not happy, and I've got all these frakkin' application fees to pay...

I did buy some Invisible Skins for various electronic devices. They were 50% off... Otherwise, the Cyber Monday deals just didn't catch my eye this year...

You might say I did. I did a little shopping at Bath and Body on line with some really great sales and $1 shipping, I couldn't pass up the chance to shop while I was still in my PJ's drinking coffee. It came two days later and I never left the house. It was great.

No shopping, except for coffee and registering for snowshoeing day trip next month.

I'm cheap and really have been toeing the line on budget.

I buy almost everything on line, anyway, so Monday was just another day. I kind of avoided looking at my email.

I am not a shopper. I am knitting a scarf for my mother, and I have a friend who works with small olive oil producers in California and Europe, and she is coming over for a tasting. I will be giving most of my family select olive oils that that they cannot get elsewhere, along with fresh-baked bread (by me).

I got my boyfriend a selection of cheese from his favorite store (Murray's Cheese) in NY. They had free overnight shipping for orders placed yesterday, and you could pick the day you wanted it to ship, so it will be arriving on his birthday. He's going to be psyched.

I'll be doing the rest of my shopping mostly at this craft show http://www.foundryshow.com/ where the goods are hand made, and there's no sales tax, so that might be about it for my online purchases. We're lucky to have a lot of good craft here in RI, so I can't really justify not buying local.

I made it until about 10pm. Then, a friend sent me an email with a coupon for www.johnnycupcakes.com

I couldn't resist the hoodie with a cupcake and crossbones. I mean, I feel like that is me. A little sweet, a little tough :p:p DH said happy early christmas, and I have said hoodie on its way to me :D

I saw no need to wait until Monday and bought stuff online over the weekend.

Tulip, can I join your family?
We started buying the olive oil we bought at the factory we visited in Baena Spain. It was $5.00 a bottle. On line, it's $35.00. I only use it for recipes, dressings, etc. and not for cooking, but it's so good I don't want to give it up.

Sure! The olive oil party will be next week. It will be like a Mary Kay or Avon party, but with olive oil and fresh baked bread, which is, in my opinion, infinitely more appealing than makeup! My friend will bring her selections of oils and I'll invite some neighbors and I'll bake some bread.

When I was in London years ago, I came across an olive oil bar. That's all they sold, and you could taste the oils (with bread) at the bar and make your selection. It was fantastic.

I save really good olive oil for dipping in fresh bread.

I ordered some Steen's cane syrup (and molassas) because I couldn't find it in stores around here. Steen's is a small company in Abbeville, LA. I was homesick over the weekend and wanted to make a Gateaux Syrop (Syrup Cake).
I still haven't done a thing for my far flung family. They were far flung before I moved too. So I'll be ordering something, I just can't decide what......

I went out shopping Black Friday and got a few things, came home and ordered more things online. I actually didn't find much on Cyber Monday. I was disappointed.

Turns out that I should have done a little shopping. I could have gotten the yarn for DBF's birthday present for a little less.
