i'm so sad i missed the astoria races. i made it to all but those and barton. i'm going through serious withdrawal now that the crusade is over!

A Halloween 'cross race has been my dream for a while. Halloween is my favorite holiday.

My ex was convinced 'cross was my sport, but here in Colorado they're more dirt crits than cross. Mud pits made with a hose = lame. 'Cross does have the benefit of not interfering with triathlon in the summer, so that's a plus.

I figure once I get back to Oregon I'll hit up my buddy for a bike. If his girlfriend doesn't have something she's sick off, surely he knows something in my size that will still leave room in the budget for a TT bike.
