It's been 3 months since I developed my subclavian vein clot. Yesterday I had my follow up ultrasound. The clot is gone! The flow in the vein is still a little restricted, probably due to some scarring on a valve from the clot, but it's MUCH better!
I'll still be on the coumadin for at least another 3 months. But I've been cleared to XC ski. (My exercise has been restricted. I haven't been allowed to swim or do exercises with big arm motions.) I may be able to swim again, but not in the volumes that I'd been doing.
