Ahhh, I love progress :) My physical therapist is happier about my getting out there on, ahem, EASY rides. (that is pretty much as he put it) He approved it before but I had the idea he wasn't especially pleased with the idea...

I've been noticing on my occasional rides recently that my right brake seemed quite mushy, and my beloved steel steed hasn't had a tune up, so I just brought her home this afternoon from her very first non-new-bike tune-up.

Weather is supposed to be wonderful tomorrow...so one last warm day to ride before the cold snap comes they are predicting. I can't complain, I got to ride 3 times in October, and this will be my second ride this month. It can only go up from here, if I am patient :D

You must feel good to be getting back on the bike.

:) NOW I just have to make certain that I have an easy return. The tendons are not quite healed, and from what I understand it will be some time before I can assume they are. So I have to take it easy...but at least I am back on the bike and able to start working my way back :D

Great news Catrin! Enjoy the upcoming ride.

I ventured out for 11 miles today- first time in 2 weeks I've gotten on the bike- rode up to a good viewing spot to watch my DH and several thousand other riders on El Tour de Tucson... maybe next year both of us will have the legs for century rides.

I get to ride this afternoon and not be limited to Eagle Creek Park! squeeeeeee!!!

Ok, calm down, breathe, still have hours of work to do but it will be 61 degrees by 2:30....hmmmm, break time. LONG break time. I have to be good, I have to be good, I have to be good....just inclines, few hills and none of them steep. It will be windy - but when isn't it? I won't be hitting the roads around the harvested fields where the 17mph winds will be much more noticeable.

:D
