Getting excited

Race is just a few days away! :) This week has been a huge hurdle. If a task could get complicated, it decided to get complicated this week. Just one more day to get through. Then tomorrow morning we are off!!!!

I'm bringing my autograph book and camera. JHK, Todd Wells, Gary Fisher, and local cyclist Bookwalter (raced in TdF) will be racing. There's also 4 slots in the mens pro where the names are mysteriously blanked out.

I also am trying a new approach to my nutrition this week. Instead of carbo-loading the day before, I'm doing it for three days before, but in smaller quantities--an additional 200-250 calories of carbs each day.

Have fun! JHK and his lovely wife are really approachable. If Sam Schultz is there he is so nice, he just loves mountain biking. I would love to have Gary Fisher sign my Gary Fisher, I am so jealous!
