I have family members that own a drycleaning plant, and they say to use Sunlight dish detergent for grease stains. It even works on stains that have already been through the dryer.

Depending on the fabric and the kind of grease, I use goop to get bike grease out of my bike clothes

Yep, Goop or Gojo handcleaners work great.

Oh MY GOSH! I used Dawn on my rear bike bag, it's yellow, and it looks good as new! Thanks so much!

You found the ticket but I have had amazing luck with Ivory dish soap. I have used it to get a lot of blood out more than once, grease, red dirt, more grease, that black soot from tires. I use it instead of any of the so-called stain removers. If I have a small stain I use rub it in then throw it in the wash. My friend told me when I had a mountain biking wound that re-opened on my work pants, best advice ever. It is amazing and even works on stains that have dried.

Does it work on carpets?
