I wanted to bump up an old post of mine in this forum and can't find anything older than late September? Is my computer just having issues or have we lost those older posts? :eek:

Yes it is, odd. I had noticed this before but this is the first I've mentioned it. I will re-post it tomorrow night when I get in.

Old posts come up with Search, but they are not displayed on the 2 pages of the forum. In my world, anyway.


Search> Advanced Search>User name> Catrin> Search in forums: For Sale/Wanted

It's not you, Catrin. It looks like they've limited the 'for sale' forum to display only two pages (unlike other forums). I think this is to keep it manageable and current. The older posts still exist, they just aren't showing. If you do a search, you'll find them and if you bump them, they'll make it back onto page 1 again.

Rats, that link from search doesn't work, nevermind, the procedure is right.
How obnoxious would it be if I went down the list and bumped all your old posts? ;) Beyond obnoxious!

LOL, yeah, that would be obnoxius :) When I get a chance I will start searching for the one I want to bump up. Thanks for the explanation, I was perplexed! I am moving Saturday and my schedule is just wild right now.
