Hello everyone -
Sitting in my garage is a set of Bianchi Levitation XL wheels, the black semi-aero wheels wit carbon fusion hubs that Bianchi had made for the XL models first, and later for some EV models. The aero rims were made by Ambrosio.
24 spokes rear, 16 spokes front. The hubs are quite nice-looking, kind of like the cycleops hubs with carbon insert - just black on black in this case.
About 2-3 years back I purchased this wheelset thinking of using it as a training wheelset. Got it home, mounted nice tires, tried them on the bike... and then had a change of heart and got a DT Swiss/powertap set for training - and the Bianchi wheels sat in the bags.
At this point I'm wondering if it would be better to send them out to a new home where they could get some use - rather than have the bags sitting in the garage. They are true, look good on most Bianchi bikes (celeste or not) as they are a black wheelset with only a small Bianchi celeste decal on each wheel.
In the pictures they are straight out of the bags, with Vittoria Open Corsa EVO CX 700x21, and Campy Record 10 speed Ti-steel cassette. The cassette is not really up for sale unless someone really wants it and makes a reasonable offer. Either way, it has some used up cogs so it may need a 2-3 cogs replacement soon. A Mavic computer magnet is mounted on the wheels, it is a new magnet and could be included if needed.
Any interest/offers? I am not completely certain that I want to sell them, but I will take into consideration any reasonable offers.
