Hi everyone,
I participate in a weekly womens ride that we are trying to promote. I'm working on posters and flyers to hang up in our bike shops and fitness centers. The big problem is, we have no money. So, I can't do a photo shoot or buy some cool pictures of women cycling. Anyway, I've attached a concept. Let me know what you think. Would this make you want to try riding at all???? I'm also open to any promotional ideas that you girls have. I'm thinking about trying to get our local newspaper to do an editorial this spring too.
Thanks!

Hey, Limewave, that's really neat! I like the pink skirt, ponytail, pink center line...

It does grab your attention with the photo, and then your eye is sortof drawn to the text down below. Thumbs up! :D

But, please, put an apostrophe in "Women's"

(Sorry, don't mean to be critical, but the editor in me can't help commenting!)

Love the artwork.

It'd get me to ride with you! I love the pink line in the rode especially.

I would come and ride if it was near me.
Good Job. :)

The pink center line really drew my eye - I think it's a GREAT idea!

That looks great! I wish I would find one of those posters somewhere around here. I would love to find a women only ride

I love it! Very appealing and the pink won me over :-) I wish I lived near you so I could join your group. Being a "lone wolf" rider has its pluses, but sometimes having some company would be great. I've noticed that I'm one of the few females cyclists on the trails around here [there is a group of stay-at-home moms who ride during late mornings, but unfortunately, I'm at work when they ride].

I'll add the apostrophe right away.
Grammar isn't one of my strong points, that's why I'm a designer :-)

Heh. My primary school teacher self was worried about that apostrophe too! :p I hope your poster does the trick and lots of women come on the rides.

Wow! That's quite neat.

Why not make it a multi-city, or even multi-country event?

The artwork is great! Just one thing, I'd try to find a pic of a road with no crack in it... Maybe that's just me.

I'm a Michigan rider too. Tell me more about your group. Where are you located? What class rides does your group do? I'd love to have some gals to ride with. Mostly now I either go by myself or with hubby. I'm in Shiawassee county and usually ride an average speed of 12-14 mph.
Your poster looks great. I love the pink on it. It should quickly draw the attention of other women riders.

Oh, I dunno...the crack is kind of like lightning as a result of her incredible speed!
