Well, the rains gave us a brief reprieve today. It was sunny, 44 degrees outside with winds blowing 25-30MPH. And the scenery was spectacular; hopefully pictures will follow this post sometime this weekend.
WE had a wonderful group today, Brenda who was celebrating her birthday, Ken who celebrated his yesterday, and another Chase family member Bob. This was the a perfect group to ride along and have a great conversation with, providing of course the terrain allowed conversation :), and challenge you to the top of the hill.
This was a 25 mile ride, with a few hills to get us warm right from the get go, and another 3/4 mile hill back onto pavement. The last 9 miles were on pavement back to the shop, but the key here was that they were all DOWNHILL! You can imagine the four of us acting like children racing down the hill as fast as we possible dared, and then of course challenging others to keep up.
