Seeking a review on DeFeet Arm warmers. These are the only arm warmers my LBS has in stock that is not an XL. I do have quite sensitive skin, and while I can wear Smartwool products without a problem, Merino wool can be an issue depending on the wool.
Has anyone had problems with irritation from these arm warmers? They are not that expensive, but trying not to waste my money right now, there are a lot of demands for it with the move next month.
Am also checking out the Smartwool arm warmer offerings from our gracious host, like this one (http://www.teamestrogen.com/prodSW_11603.html).

Not really an answer to your question, but maybe check your local running store for more options...? That's where I buy most of mine.

I found arm warmers that actually come in women's sizes; Shebeest. I believe I bought them on TE. The extra smalls stay up on my puny arms, too.
They are not wool, however, but they are heavy enough to keep you pretty warm.

I found Smartwool arm warmers at TE that are less expensive than the DeFeet. I am going to call TE today and see if I can figure out what size I need. Will also check on the Shebeest as well, thanks!
In the end, I think the wool in the DeFeet warmers is just not fine enough - I KNOW that Smartwool won't irritate my skin...

I've been coveting Smartwool arm warmers too, or else the Ibex ones (also on TE).
Since I can't make up my mind I am planning to take scissors, needle and thread to an old sweater of brewer's, once I get it sufficiently felted.

I own 4 pr of arm warmers. Voler, Gore, Pearl Izumi, and some no-name nylony things.
The Pearl Izumi fleece arm warmers are my absolute favorites - the fleece is nice and warm and cozy feeling.
The Voler (Amici Veloci) are my next favorite.
The Goretex ones are OK but don't really fit so I've never liked them. The no-name pair is very thin, and not so effective, but I wear them on occaion since I have the matching jersey. Compared with the PI, they are - well - useless.
I will likely be ordering a couple more pair of the Pearl Izumis soon.

I have the Smartwool's and the TE ones. I love the color and texture of the wool ones, but wind blows threw. I tend to wear them under a jacket. The other's are for the middle of the road fall day. Either works good, I need both.

I love my DeFeet armwarmers - no sensitivity issues at all. I can't wear wool - even smartwool or Ibex itch me like crazy.
