I'm looking for a second wheelset for my xc bike to make switching from knobbies to slicks quick and easy. I found a great looking set of EA90 SLX on craigslist for $400 that already have tires and a cassette on them (which would save me a couple bucks).
Have any of you used these wheels?
Thanks

Love them! My first upgrade on my road bike, they are lighter and hold up great.

I just borrowed a pair from a teammate for an uphill TT. My impressions (as compared to my DuraAce wheels). Is that they are fairly light and pretty stiff, nice climbers. I probably wouldn't make them my first choice for 100 miles of chip seal. I can feel every wobble in the road with them.

My DH used a set of EA90 SLX's for over a year, but then he began having some issues with them. First, a spoke broke at the nipple on the rear wheel. He had to have the LBS call Easton to order the correct spoke...that took a while. When he got the wheel back, he started to have issues with the hub feeling "loose". He got to the point where he just didn't trust the wheels anymore, so he ended up switching back to his stock Bontrager wheels. He attributes the issues he was having with his Eastons, on his weight. He weighs between 170-180lbs, and in his opinion (and quite a few other people's opinions), he was just too heavy to be riding those wheels on the harsh, crappy roads that we are forced to ride on here.
