So, it's come to this. Stella taught me how to ride her, and was very patient with me in the depths of winter and many miles in parking lots. Her carbon fork and seat-stay IsoZone vibration damping system are nice, and the rest of her particulars can be explored here (http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/bike_path/fx/76fxwsd/).

This bike is just a little too large for me though, and she stretches me out too much.

This is a full stock bike with 345 miles on it and it only has a couple of scratches, as shown in the pictures. I would like $700 for her + shipping. She comes with platform pedals, a bar end mirror if you would like it, and a water cage. Considering I have no idea how to package/ship a bike I would have my LBS professionally package her and there is a UPS store literally next door. If you are in a surrounding state I would be happy to meet you and save the shipping cost.

The shot of the down tube doesn't really show what I wanted it to. There were rub marks/scratches in the paint from my bike rack and a few months ago I used a little fingernail polish to cover it. It is very close to matching the color and is not very noticeable. Please let me know if more pictures would be helpful.

This bike MIGHT be sold :D I am meeting someone tomorrow evening at a LBS and if she can ride it, she is buying it. We will see, I would dearly love to start that Luna savings account!

I have my fingers crossed, already sent an email to Margo to find out if a flat-bar Eclipse would be any more expensive than usual...come to find out it would be a little less :)

Not that it could happen this year anyway...but this would be a nice start!

I now only own ONE bike, and have the first installment for my Luna savings account :D

I did allow her to talk my price down a little - but I still got 60% of what I paid for the bike originally and she feels/knows she got a good deal. Money in the savings account much better than a bike I can't ride more than 20 miles....and to think that I was a little scared to advertise on Craiglist!

Margot should pay some of her most avid fans somehow for their getting her business :)

Margo's bikes speak for themselves. You will see what I mean when you get yours. Glad you got your bike sold so quickly and have your savings account started!

I can hardly wait! I love my LHT, but it will be nice to have a light-weight steel bike to go faster with - and that FITS me! I just have to decide if I will just get the frame from her and have my LBS build it, or get a complete build from her. Time will tell, but neither will happen this year.
