I'm Better Than I Thought

Just received an email from the triathlon organization that hosted the sprint triathlon this past weekend. They wanted to inform the participants that the swim portion was scheduled to be 500m - turns out we all swam 750m instead! I was so happy. Good thing I didn't know this before as it for sure would of had another panic attack! Now I'm getting more confident and feel that just maybe I can do the olympic distance triathlon next year!

I love this story! It's kind of like what happened to me! Isn't it better, doing a long swim, when you think it's shorter than it really is? :-)
