I received a gift of a litespeed saber ti frame (circa 2003) that is my size (47cm). Lucky, right?

I now need to build it up. The Litespeed Saber is a triathlon frame. I do triathlons, but I am not remotely fast enough for it to matter if I ride aero or not. I am debating whether I could build the frame as a road bike (no aero bars, built with drops, brifters, etc.), rather than a TT/tri bike.

Is this doable? Is it worthwhile or should I plan to build it as a tri bike?

It's designed to be a tri bike; I'd build it up that way. Aero helps everyone at every speed..and it's fun!

If you're not comfortable with flat base bars, then put on drop bars, but also throw on some aerobars.
