Hi,

I am 5'4 and looking for a nice mixte. I would like something vintage that is pretty light, or as light as can be.

I have done some research, and it seems that Motocabane made some nice ones in the mid 70s or mid 80s Miyata, Univega, etc... also made some nicer models.

Please let me know if you have one you are willing to part with.

Thanks T

I saw the thread title and thought "hmm, don't we all?" ;)

Good luck with you search. Very few of these bikes start out nice and by the time they are nice no one wants to part with them.

i got one and spent a little over 200 on it and it's now a nice looking and servicable bike.
I encourage you to start looking (check that mixte thread, some of us actually post craigslist finds there) and you often get a bike for less than 200 dollars and then fix it up and make it exactly what you want...

I'm not selling mine (yet) but I got a great deal on mine on craigslist. Definitely keep an eye out there.

I have two and keep thinking I should sell one or both. I hardly ever ride them and we have 3 other bikes.

BUT...they are so gorgeous...I keep them for eye candy if nothing else. :D
