so i have 2 saddles, a broken in b17s and a specialized jett that i bought used.

and 2 bikes. a salsa casseroll with drops / aggressive amazing campy components and an iro single speed that is outfitted now with velo orange tourist bars.

for a while i had the brooks on the iro but since the iro is built out of a total hodgepodge of parts, i never really got the fit right. the salsa also had the brooks, but it really needed a setback seatpost.

right now i have the brooks with a setback on my salsa, and that right now is so PERFECT.

i tried the jett on the iro, and its killing me. maybe it was used so much that its just not good, but its just.. super painful. especially compared to the brooks. the brooks on the IRO was never comfortable, i think i was sometimes on the rivets bc i was too upright. ( before the tourist bars i had cheapie on one mary rip offs that i got a swap meet. ) i mean, it wasnt terrible ( better than the jett ) but definitely not as comfortable as on the salsa.

do you think it was because i was way too upright for the b17s on the iro? (funny.. its made as a street based track bike.. )

i know im measured correctly for the jett ( 155 ) as i measured 140 on the assmeter. is it just because its definitely for a more aggressive position? should i try getting a b67 or whatever for the iro? or will that look ridiculously wide / or will be too wide! i know when the brooks works, it works amazing.

also, on both bikes my seat is level with the handlebars.
