CT Riders?

Hi All,
Looking for anyone in the Colchester or surrounding areas to try and get a smaller group to ride together. I generally go out on my own but sometimes nice to have others....also, is anyone doing the ERRACE event in Simsbury CT this Sunday

did that ERRACE event ever happen? When i looked at the website for info, it had said that it was canceled. I live in Eastern CT, and am looking to possibly do a group ride from time to time...but I am a newbie....I average about 13mph or so.
