I've just been a total bag about posting this - sorry about that - life's been messy indeed!

I have Kermit's Ruby to pass on - it's a 143. If interested, please PM me with your address and I promise to try and get it into the post soon.

You also might want to drop Kermit a big THANK YOU for being so wonderful! She is, she really is!!!!

namaste,
vness

We're like the sisterhood of the traveling saddle! :D

If I love the Ruby I may keep it, but I have a nearly new SI Lady Gel Flow saddle that I would give away, in its place. :)

If that were the SI SLR Lady Gel Flow...I'd snap that up in a heartbeat!

I also have the saddle that came on my Cannondale...it's about the same shape/size as the Jetty and Ruby, but squishier.

I'm all misty eyed, if only everyone could find the perfect saddle...

I'm just curious...does it have a cut-out like the Jett & Ruby? Got any pics of it?

Nope...no cut-out. I need to figure out where I stashed it and take pics. It does have a sort of ridge down the center, but it's so soft that I think the ridge is pretty ineffective.

Hey V,
Tried to send you this photo, here's my new guy!

oh he is just gorgeous!

as you can see, I got your Ruby passed on...
thank you so much for the opportunity to ride her :)

will PM you back soon & I promise to get you pics of 'her hotness', though someone actually asked me what year she was at that ride on sunday... I guess you can tell she's not the 'latest' because of the old configuration of the brake cables... so sad LOL

So excited! I'm really glad I get to try this saddle before shelling out money for one. I have a feeling I'm really going to like it--my Jett is good, but maybe a hair squishy.

Kermit - That is an amazing looking dog. Looks ready to work, you do something with them don't you? Is it a black GSD?

I am a K9 handler for the police department at Miami International Airport. He's my new explosives detection dog, a young, 1 1/2 year old black shepherd. Right now he's a big baby but a good worker. Still learning his way around in those big feet. He's 70 lbs. now but really thin, I have a feeling when he fills out and muscles up he's gonna be a beast.

He's so handsome. Our next-door-neighbor has a male GSD, Seneca. SWEET dog. He was the runt of the litter and the smallest male GSD I have ever seen. He's afraid of DH, which cracks us up. Seneca rarely barks...when he barks it's because someone has gone by that he doesn't recognize (we're really lucky to live in a 'hood with plenty of dogs and very few barkers, really). Once he "knows" someone he barely acknowledges them. He really blows any stereotypes of GSDs as big, aggressive dogs.

I'm hoping to try it tomorrow night on a 30 mile group ride. Saturday was my first century ride and yesterday we did a short recovery. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it differs from my Jett. :D

Yup! She arrived on Friday, I think. If I love it I will probably buy a Ruby of my own, then keep the Jett as a back-up or for a future cyclocross bike. :)

Still wanna try it? I liked it, but didn't love it. I found that I was more aware of my sitbones with this saddle than with my Jett (which I supermegaheart). Glad that I got to find that out without spending a fortune, first. :D

I do, I do!! :D Have been riding it for a few weeks now...and so far, so good. I even did a century last Sunday, with no major problems (just a little butt tenderness...but hey, after 100 miles...whose butt isn't sore???). If I continue to have no issues with it, I plan on picking up another one for my backup bike.

That's great, if it still works after a century I think you're golden. The new model has a little more gel padding. They are very popular.
