Cycling in Freiburg Germany with pics, etc.

Other than the fact Freiburg has a well-preserved medieval core and is in the wine-growing region, is smaller, there were others reasons why we chose it:

It embarked on an aggressive cycling infrastructure improvement plan a few decades ago and has large proportions of its locals cycling regularily now.

Also a personal connection, my partner's father studied there many decades ago.

Since it's in southwestern Germany, a convenient base to go to other countries nearby.
