oh my!!! When they crash and continue riding all bloody and bruised and road-rashed, it makes me cringe. I'm a wuss, because it it were me- I'd be crying like a little sissy girl on the side of the road. I guess that's why they're pros.
Why did I click on that while I was eating?

Oh hell... that's nothing... my shoulder looked like that... but the worst was the entire side of my FACE on the left being taken off like that in my dog century crash last Fall... yea... I still got sand coming outta my face now 10mos later :( And wtf... I'm not even a pro... just humble lil first time century rider... I wanted to keep riding... but my eye swelling shut just really put a damper on seeing traffic:rolleyes:... so then I decided to sit beside the road... and cry in the ER later... at least when you crash like a pro you got a team army to take care of you;).

It happened to me a couple years ago...10 miles from home - with no one to call...left side arm, hip, leg. That's when I learned to get on the bike and keep pedaling...ya' do what ya' gotta do...but I haven't wrecked since:);)
Oh hell... that's nothing...
YEAH! Rub some dirt on it and get back on the bike!
Really though, you're tough. I like it.
Women are like that though. They crash, the other person says "you OK?"
Woman says yeah even though she's not.
There's a little girl who rides her bike up and down the road in front of my house. I heard, but didn't see, this conversation just the other day.
When I was ten I was riding with my sister to our aunt's house. My sister was ahead, I fell, and she didn't even know I was missing.
She circled back, I said I'm OK but actually I had a badly sprained ankle, horrible black eye and a concussion.
(the people in the ER thought my mom beat me:eek:should have told them no only my father does that)
She called my mom from our aunt's house. Mom walked to where I was and rode me back. She stood and pedaled while I sat on the seat. She was tough too.

Wow... Ted King really started a trend with his Mother's Day Giro showing his bum to the world idea.
My skin burns just looking at it.

I do at least appreciate that his face shows that it hurts. There are some people who SMILE after showing the world an injury like that.
