I have a serious problem; I like to buy shoes. Seriously, how many pairs of cute summer shoes does a girl need? But I really like these.

And I don't have any purple shoes.

And then there are these, which come in pink too!!!!

I defintely have a problem and I know I need help. I spend my summer days barefoot or in my Keens. I've already got Keen tan for goodness sake. I've got 4 pair of cute summer shoes in addition to my wear everywhere Keens. Why do I keep obsessing about cute summer shoes?

I have a Clark's addiction. I bought purple shoes from them last winter (suede Mary-Jane types) and I love them.

However I must say I don't understand people who drop a fortune on shoes like Manolos (sp?) that they can't even walk in for more than 5 minutes.

My most expensive shoes are my Sidis.

Mine is Nagore, only available in Spain, where I can't afford to go again any time soon. I seriously considered asking Crankin for a fix, but figured that would be crossing the line, and I'd really need to get counseling. :o It's so hard to resist shoes that fit my feet, and don't give me blisters!

4 pair of summer shoes doesn't sound excessive to me. Oh no, I'm an enabler!

My most expensive shoes are my Sidis.

Mine too! I have two pair of the Pink Dominators. It amuses me to have pink cycling shoes.

My motorcycle boots are also Sidis - only ones I could find to fit over my well muscled calves, which I've decided to stop calling large. :D

It's not like I ride the motorcycle that often. But my honey insists, "All the gear, all the time."

Ohhhhh, I've got to get myself some of those! The one pair of Keen mary janes I own are looking shabby. Maybe I should pick up a couple of pairs.....*

*See what you started!:p:D;)

I have the top ones in a sage green. They are my favorite shoes right now. Very comfortable for walking and very cute. I'm thinking about getting some others made by the same company (Ahnu) because of how great these are.

Yes, I am an enabler.

Hey that's good to know.

Those are the ones most different from everything else I have, since they actually have a heel.

My sister made me get some sandals with a heel last year to wear to Thom's reunion. My feet were killing me after 30 minutes! I hate wearing sandals - I have the ugliest toes ever. But she convinced that the sandals went better with my dress...

I'm cleaning house, I think I'll go throw those sandals away. I just got rid of all my roller blading stuff. :D

If you only have 4 pairs of cute summer shoes, you don't have a problem. When you get to the point that you have 30 or more pair, like me, you got a problem.

And Yeah, I still really only wear one pair of danskos and switch between 2 or 3 pairs of keen sandals in the summer.

But then... my feet haven't grown since I was in 5th grade - and it's hard making myself toss out shoes that there's nothing wrong with. And cute shoes in size 6 or 6.5 go on sale all the time.

What are the first pair of shoes, the black ones? I need to break down and buy a new pair of shoes and they look comfy.

They are Ahnus. Title 9 has them.

Thanks - shopping for shoes has never been my favorite thing to do (I know, I know, that approaches heresy), so when something catches my attention..... :D

I never shop at stores. I'll take my chances with the Internet. Most companies make it pretty easy to return stuff if it doesn't fit.

Thanks to MP I just ordered mine. They are back ordered in my size until the middle of August. But that's ok, I don't mind waiting.

I had major reconstructive foot surgery on my left foot 5 years ago - so I really do have to try them on if it is a brand or style that I've not tried in the last 4 years. These shoes do look very comfy though so will see if I can find someone locally who deals in them.

Thanks for posting the pictures!

And yet they don't actually feel like they have a heel. I've walked miles in them since getting them a couple of months ago.

I bought a pair of Ahnu's for the first time in the spring. They were on sale for $25 and have quickly become my go-to shoe. Plus they are just un-sneaker-like that I can still wear them to work;)

I also love Clarks! I bought these in the winter during their sale and they are by far the most comfortable heels I've ever owned! I'm actually wearing them today :)

NoNo - wow, those Clarks are adorable!! I'm seeing a podiatrist on Friday and if he doesn't ban me from ever wearing heels again, I might have to buy myself a pair of those!

I have a shoe problem too. I find one style I like and then I must collect all colors. :p I have three pair of Keen Sedona clogs, three pair of Keen Calistoga mary janes and I'm now saving my pennies for my second (and third!) pair of Sanita flexible clogs. :o

I also tend to fall in love with shoes that are >$150 and that just pisses me off. My absolutely favorite pair of black sandals (with a small heel and super comfy), I bought 9 years ago. I remember them being expensive but not totally out of my range. They still look brand new and I swear that I wear them almost daily in the summer (for NINE years!). I just went to see if I could find another simliar style or another color and discovered that they are $180!!! WTF?? I certainly didn't pay THAT much for them! Ugh.

Red, I would have seriously bought you any shoes you wanted, because shoes are the *only* thing I bought in Spain! However, I was disappointed in that most of the shoes I saw were cheap and ugly and it was not like Italy. Until I got to Malaga... OMG to be able to go in and say "size 36" without the people laughing at you. I found a chain with cool shoes that I can order online, no stores in the US.
And, besides, I would have given you free counseling.
Veronica, I am wearing a pair of shoes today that look just like the black ones you had pictured first, except less of a heel. I got them at EMS, not usually a place to get shoes I could wear to work.
There is a very expensive shoe store in Concord center, with all of the brands listed above. They have an upstairs room, where the shoes are all like 30-80% discounted. I bought a pair of 350.00 shoes for 95.00. However, I did go to Nordstroms to get shoes for Scott's wedding; I wanted classic dressy sandals or slingbacks without a 5 inch heel, but with more than the old lady type heel. In my size, it's next to impossible. But, I ended up with some nice slingbacks with a 2.5 inch heel that I can wear again.
