The Women's Race Movement is afoot and just when you thought you'd have to travel to NY, NJ, or PA in search of a Women's Only Race Clinic.
Wait now more! There's a racing clinic being offered right in your backyard.
Thanks to a grant from NEBR (New England Bike Racing Assoc),Cycling Concepts Race Team in partnership with Rentschler Field is offering the Women's Intro to Racing Clinic:
When: July 10 2010, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where: Rentschler Field 615 Silver Lane East Hartford, CT
Clinic will include:
Guest speakers, Class Time Discussion, handling skills, pace lining, bridging skills, mock races & tactics

Guest speakers: Stephanie Chase-Cat2 racing for Stage5Cycling,
USCF coach and MaryAnn Martinez-Cat 2 racer, former Masters
National Champion.
Clinic will include class time discussion, handlling skills,
pace lining & bridging skills, mock races & tactics.
$35-includes entry into race on July 11th.
USA Cycling license required. Can be purchased onsite, annual $60 or one-day $5
(includes $1 per rider insurance surcharge.)
Helmets required
No aero bars/straight bars/sleeveless jerseys
Lunch & snacks provided.
