Just got an invitation to my niece's baby shower. It's to be held in Colorado, I live in Utah. My sister-in-law wants to go in together and get a babystroller/carseat combo for $189. She wants the 4 of us to split the cost! Uh no.....now I look cheap and uncooperative....

I often feel like the "cheap and uncooperative" one, so I feel your pain. I'll all for spending only what you can afford and feel is reasonable. Can you find anything else on the registry that you can split that is closer to what you're comfortable with?
