That is an excellent and most constructive idea. I wish there were a compulsory ride-a-bike-in-traffic-session in all driving education!

I do too! It should be part of the driver training course with the requirement of riding a bicycle in traffic a certain number of hours before you get a driver's license or get it renewed.

One of our club members was squeezed between a semi and a parked car day before yesterday and was hit by a thrown beer bottle yesterday.

I have been saying that to my friends for years.

As a school bus driver, I'm always wishing the drivers of CARS would get behind the wheel of a School Bus to experience how difficult it is to drive when everyone does whatever they possible can to not get stuck BEHIND the school bus. As a cyclist driving a school bus I will not go around a cyclist even if they wave me around, unless I can have adequate clearance that I can see for myself, to move completely into the other lane. Besides, I really like the torque of my engine when it goes slow. Oh the power!

The world better look out if I am ever behind the wheel of a bus!

Some days my Yaris seems too big.
