Ok gals, a midracer recumbent that will blow your socks off!
http://www.catbike.us/
I have seen one here at Sun Cyclery in AZ, and it is one beautiful bike. They will be releasing a new shorter frame in six weeks, that will fit us shorter people! This bike comes set up with some great components, tweener bars which provides one with the Open Cocpit handlebars (much easier than preying mantis handlebars).
It has a pretty steep seat angle, I like it, but for many it might be too layed back. Catrike is out of Florida, and yes, an american made bike! What is great about this bike is it is nice and low to the ground so you can plant your feet firmly at stops and start, one of the biggest challenges when learning to ride a bent.
