Apparently, one of my shorts is... hmm, a little too transparent. One of the guys who rides with me, told me that he can make out my butt crack in one of the shorts I have. I'm guessing it the the Pearl Izumi shorts I have. They were full price around 50$, so not the fancy stuff that is preferred. I don't remember the specifics on them, but... yeah..
At least my Ultrafinos are safe :)

I'm making my own and I noticed the lycra I bought appears VERY sheer, so I'm going to double that area to cover my backside. I don't know if I'm going to be up to riding commando yet though. I don't have a pattern for a chamois with this Jalie 2216 pattern.

mary, I'm wondering if we've exchanged emails over making shorts? If not, have you seen my sewing page for do it yourself? I find that if you use a 7 to 9 oz lycra instead of swim lycra, you don't get the transparency problem. also, give me a PM with your address and I'll make a copy of my chamois pattern for you and mail it.
