I went to the Summit Hut in Tucson yesterday. The only store in AZ that does a boot fitting. They take an hour and at no charge, do the Phil Oren boot fitting system, then assist in picking out hiking boots that would be appropriate.
The system works well, and they have such a wide selection of boots, I found surprisingly a Patagonia light hiker for the summer that will work well.

The website information lists your local dealers that do this, but it is NOT updated. Two local stores in Phoenix were listed but they don't do it anymore. So phone ahead before you drive.
