We have a young guy on our vintage motorcycle forum that was hit from behind on his cycle by a drunk woman while he was sitting still at a red light. He got very hurt and was laid up for quite a while. His Mom came into his hospital room and typed responses on our forum for him and helped send out stuff to people who had already paid (he has a one man shop for cycle fixing and stuff and has helped a lot of us out). This was last year. Then this year he was walking across the street at a crosswalk and a city bus hit him. Mom was there again, helping out, making sure he was okay and his customers' stuff got sent out on time.
So here's how we can do something nice for her in return... She is a writer for her local paper and does some children's stories on the side. She has a story on the net right now. If she has the most clicks on her story by the end of the month, she wins $1500. You can click on it twice a day from a computer. If you have more than 1 computer at your disposal, you can click on it from them too.
It's a cute story but I wouldn't expect anyone to listen to it twice a day. You can turn the volume down or just let it on for a minute or two. It would be nice if some of our gals in the cycling community could help our forum members to click on this wonderful Mom's story and give her something back. She's been through a lot with her son and deserves a hand.
We are in the 500's right now but I guess the highest one is over a 1000 because the daughter of that person has all the kids at school clicking on multiple computers. Please help us do something nice for her and help her win some much needed $$$. Thanks and please feel free to pass it on to anyone you can think of.
