Hi all,
I'm interested in a duffel bag with separate spaces for shoes, helmet, sunglasses, etc. Something like this (http://reviews.roadbikereview.com/blog/new-hincapie-pro-duffel-and-hincapie-pro-pack/)...except used and/or much cheaper.
Idea is to get better organized and head out quickly for the rides that don't start right out my door. I prefer duffel bag/gym bag style over backpack, but have seen some clever triathlon backpacks I'd consider.
It doesn't have to be stylish -- I'm on a low budget (<$25ish?) and this is definitely a want, not a need. Anyone have something gathering dust they'd be willing to send my way?

Don't know if you have TJmaxx out there, but I found my husband and I great gear bags there...cheap.

Thanks for the tip! they are not very convenient, but there are a few here in CO so I'll keep that in mind.
It's a backpack, not a duffel, but I love my daughter's Lands End Multitask backpack for triathlons. I wish I had bought one for myself--we got hers last year, and this year's design doesn't seem to be as flexible (that's just my impression--I haven't seen it in real life).
The pack has a large main compartment (holds towels, change of clothes, etc.), a shoe compartment at the bottom, a small front organizer compartment for sunscreen, gels, keys, sunglasses, etc.), an expanding outer panel that holds a helmet (or a basketball if you're my daughter--this thing can really expand!), two water bottle pockets, and my favorite detail--an attachment thingy on the outside towards the top so you can secure tall-ish things in the outer pockets--it holds my frame pump without flopping. The new design has a different outer/helmet pocket that looks like it wouldn't expand as much, and it's missing that attachment for holding tall items securely. But at $40 new, it's a good deal. You might be able to find the old design used on ebay for much less, too.
Here's a picture of the old design: http://shopaliciousblog.blogspot.com/2008/08/win-lands-end-multitask-backpack-for.html

Am looking for something similar. Some folks have said they like this bag which comes in 2 versions, basic and deluxe.

Yeah, it seems like those cubes are well-liked. I'm going to keep my eyes open for seconds or closeout for those if nothing else comes up. Thanks!
