I'm looking for a bra that is good for light physical activity: like taking my kids on a bike ride, hiking, playing with them outside, etc. I'm tired of wearing sports bras all weekend . . . I want to look good in my "play clothes" ;)

I wear about a size B, but I've had kids and need some shape and a little padding. I'd also like it to have a little wider straps around the back and over the shoulders.

Any suggestions?

I just picked up a Handful (LOVE IT), and it describes everything you just asked for.

Hey, that's a nice bra! (And the model in the last shot is ripped :D)

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll order one this weekend, as soon as my paycheck gets deposited.

I got my Handful in the mail yesterday. Wow, that arrived quickly! Thanks TE!!! I wore it for volleyball last night and it was great.

It fits a little funny on me, but I am b/w sizes. I know the large was going to be too big, but the medium is just a touch small. Other than that, I love it and I will definitely order another one when my budget allows.
:D

Do any of you use this bra for running? Or just lower impact stuff?

I used mine this week for running and it worked great. I absolutely love it. I really need to order another one because, in the short time I've had it, I've worn it every day, all day, and with every workout. I'm tired of washing it.

I love these bras, too. Primarily, they are my weekend bras, and occasionally, I wear them in lieu of a "regular" bra to work.

I am going to try these. My sizes have been changing so I suspect that I will be between the medium and large. The TE page says that they tend to run large, have you found that to be the case?

I think the Small size is true to size or even a little small. I'm a 34 lower case b ;) and it's kind of tight on me. Can't tell you about the other sizes though.

The straps are not adjustable (knew that from the picture). They're not as short as the straps on Moving Comfort bras, but it's borderline for someone like me whose b00bs are set low on her chest.

The bra fits me the way I thought it would. The straps are fine, as I am a little broad shouldered for a petite person. I am a 32A, though my chest measurement is really 33; the small is fine on me, though I suspect if I took those pads out, I wouldn't fill the cup :).
I need to order more before my tour.

This is good to know, and I hadn't realized they weren't adjustable - though that makes sense.

I think that I am going to head back to a good department store and get properly measured before I buy any bras - before my large weight gain back in the '90s I was a 36C, went up to a 38D and now am somewhere in-between. Problem is that I am unsure quite where, and when I try to measure myself I come up with an 'A' cup and as busty as I am I KNOW that can't be right :o

I have a medium and I am about a 36b (small b). It fits a little snug but not uncomfortably so.

This is good to know, so I will just go with a large and leave it at that. That does simplify things :D

What's the uni-boob factor on this one? It's hard to tell from the pictures (and I definitely don't look like the model ;)). I'm hoping to find some nice comfortable bicycle but also day wear appropriate bras for a cycling trip we're taking in the fall. For day wear, though, I don't want uni-boob ;)

No uniboob at all. They are two separate entities with this bra. :)
