Hi,

I have two Portland Cyclery messenger pants, both size Small. These are really nice but they do not fit me exactly. One is black and the other is grey. They both have an attached liner short which is identical. There are some minor difference in the pockets on the front and the bottom of the pants.

I have never worn either of them. I would like $30 for each. That will include shipping. As I am in France shipping will be via regular mail in an envelope. Unfortunately, there is no tracking with that type of shipping but anything else is cost prohibitive. Mail typically takes 5-10 days between the US and France.

As an owner of these same knickers I have to tell you guys these are great pants, lots of pockets and this is an unbeatable price.

You should snatch 'em up while you can.

Can you describe the sizing a bit better than just the waist size on their website? Do they run large or small (size 2 to 4 can be so different between brands) Is there an elastic waistband? thanks! tokie

The new model has a zip up at the cuff. Mine and OP's have the velcro strip.
Advantage velcro it's reflective :) :D
dissadvantage it can flap a little :o

They are great pants, I have 2 pair. For many rides these remain my faves.

Tokie,

I'm not sure how to describe the fit. I believe it is pretty much just what one would expect from that size--neither large nor small. The black pair is the older model with the velcro at the bottom. It does have elastic at the back of the waist only. The grey pair is the newer model with zips at the bottom and it does not have any elastic in the waist. The legs on the black pair are also slightly longer (about 2-1/2" longer) and its side front pockets are zipped.

I just got mine on Friday (ordered them ) They're great! my only complaint would be that my knees get more fresh air than they used to with the Ibex knickers as they are a tad shorter. But they fit VERY well and are very comfortable and look nicer than the Ibex.
And the POCKETS???!!!!! they're great.
