That first ride on my LHT I noted that it was highly over-responsive and I couldn't come close to holding a line. Several here noted that it was likely due to the narrow bars and my hand issues.
While I won't be able to get a good ride on Sully until this weekend, I noted on my test ride at the LBS that the twitchiness was gone. I have even more narrow bars now then I did before, so that apparently wasn't the issue. The problem seemed to have revolved around not having the right bars/levers which likely had me in a death-grip - which translated to over-responsive steering.
I am looking forward to my first real ride this weekend. Time to learn how to SHIFT those bar-ends :)
