What skin creams are you gals using? I've been a big fan of Clinique for my sensitive skin for my face, use Equate from Walmart, fragrance free for my body. Any good recommendations for foot care?

Yes, and if you can recommend animal free tested products that would be great!

When I saw the topic title, I thought it might relate to types of food to eat that would foster healthy skin. :)

I use Marcelle oil-free cream. I have not yet taken time to explore better creams.. partially due to need to save money. So don't want to experiment at this time.

I use Neutrogena Healthy Skin with retinol for my face, unless I'm planning some long days in the summer sun, in which case I use Eucerin with SPF 30 by day and Complex 15 for faces by night.

Aveeno for my hands (lasts well through many hand washings but too greasy for the rest of me). So, Complex 15 for the rest of me.

I rarely try new products because I have a history of contact dermatitis.

Didn't we have a thread about this recently? Or am I thinking of something else?

Oh, we have a thread about this now and then, but it's been a year or two since the last one. :)

My skin is SUPER sensitive, and I just switched, actually, to Weleda Almond Moisture Cream (http://usa.weleda.com/our-products/shop/almond-moisture-cream.aspx), because I was having a really hard time finding the Better Botanicals products I used before. I actually like this one even better, because there are fewer floral ingredients and so the fragrance isn't so heavy. And Weleda is a highly respected brand that's been around for a long, long time. They seem to be making a resurgence on the store shelves after having been hard to find for a while, but as far as I could find out it's not because they were bought out (can't completely swear to that though). They don't do animal testing or use any ingredients for which it's required.

Right now I use Weleda Sea Buckthorn Oil. When the finances allow, I will go back to Dr. Hauschka products because never has my skin been so clear and soft as when I was using them.

I moisturize my feet 2, sometimes 3 times a day to keep callouses and rough skin at bay. Before my workouts and riding, I use BareFoot by Freeman (Peppermint & Plum Shea Butter Heel & Callus Balm). After showering, I use Dr. Scholl's For Her Foot Butter. I've had good luck keeping my feet soft and smooth with both of these products.

Oh, feet---shoulda asked that at the beginning.

Pure coconut oil from the health food store. Cheap and effective. No animal testing because it's just plain ole coconut oil. Put socks on afterward til it absorbs in.

Do I have a tip for you, but it doesn't include the use of any certain cream. The absolute best foot-callous treatment ever is the "Diamancel Genuine Diamond Foot Buffer — #11 Extra-Strength: A diamond-encrusted file for maintaining the smoothness of very active feet." It's pricey, but it's money very well spent, and it will last forever!

I use Derma E Hyaluronic Acid serum day and night. I use pure shea butter or jojoba for my skin elsewhere. If my face wasn't so prone to acne I'd be using shea or jojoba, too (I know they're both "non-clogging", but I still get surface bumps if I use the oils).

I've also been a fan of the various Badger Balms, pricey but they're good.

I've switched to organic products that don't contain parabens or sulphates or phthalates or petroleum products.

I currently use Kiss My Face products for my face, and Burt's Bees for my skin. Good for your skin and not tested on animals.

I also use Dr. Bronner's soaps. USDA certified organic, vegan and not tested on animals. They are also a Fair trade company. http://www.drbronner.com/DBMS/LS.htm

I use Clinique, too, but not the regular kind. The one for aging skin, etc. I use the daily moisturizer, night cream, and under eye cream. I like it because I only have to buy it twice a year and I think it has helped my skin.
I use Paula Dorf cosmetics, but I haven't tried any different skin care products in ages. I have been using Cetaphil to wash my face for 25 years. Cheap and it works.

I also use the Clinique 3-step face cleaner. I use the liquid soap (so much nicer than the bar soap). A couple of times a week I'll use their 7-day scrub cream. I also use their makeup, but I don't wear too much (usually just mascara for work, sometimes eyeshadow if I'm feeling ambitious).

Lava and opossum fat for face and feet.

It was good enough for my Granny and it's good enough for me.
