Because he races. He's mentioned it a few times in his blog, but doesn't make a big deal out of it.

Thanks for sharing. I, personally don't care who he is. If he was some heavy set guy on a mongoose bike, I wouldn't care. As long as he stays funny, I'll continue reading. :D

Throbbing Manischewitz hangover this AM. Wait...did I "out" myself to the WSJ yesterday? Uh-oh.

(The wsj article had a full-on face shot, unlike the one in the times.)
