Yeah, did you ever hear what happened to the trailer?? I'm glad they were in California when that happened. (I read them on Facebook.)

I just read his post on facebook about the fire. They think the battery in the GPS unit exploded and that started the propane tank. On my trip last spring I didn't have a GPS unit but I had other battery powered things like flashlight and cell phone, and it was not intentional that I stored them separately from the propane (more to do with their size and accessibility).

That's kind of scary. Those green propane bottles seem to leak a little. I wonder if anyone makes a cap that screws on to them, other than that little plastic cap that comes with it?

I'm glad they weren't riding along when it happened (at least from the picture it appears it was while they were camped).

That little one, Mae, is a DOLL. I can't imagine what it must be like to be that young and doing that.
