There is a serious five part discussion on the problems with women's cycling at this link. Some Olympic hopefuls have chimed in.

Charlotte, thanks for the link. Please introduce yourself too.
No doubt there are some women here in TE who follow the competitive cycling world much more closely than I. Then there are those who cycle regularily faithfully, but not competitively and have been cycling for past many years to save one's own health, etc.
After reading highly detailed comments here and there for 1 of the articles in your above link, I wondered how could women like myself and others who don't follow competitive cycling deeply but could become abit more informed /supportive without devoting oodles of time reading a ton of competitive cycling news. After all, there's not much on tv for women's competitive cycling..at least not in the city where I live.
And I like to read other stuff outside of cycling..in fact, I need to. What would you suggest?

I would like to see a weekly podcast on women's cycling. I bet it would get a big following, and all of us who don't have the time to follow the pros in the women's cycling could fit in in while we are doing other things. There is a weekly podcast for my "other" sport, and they always cover the news, then an interview with someone in the sport, then a tip for the "everyday" hobbyist. It's well done and I look forward to it every week. For the first time in 35 years of being involved in this sport, I am following the professionals, and enjoying it.
