Okay call me silly, (everyone else does) but I just ordered a decal name sticker for my bike. I always thought it was cool the way the pros have names on their bikes. When I was a kid my dad had a friend who was an artist who designed artwork for his raceboat. He put my brother and I's names on our bikes. My little pink banana seat bike had my name on it. I thought it was the greatest thing ever. So...anyone else tagged their bike?

mine will be tagged 'rally car style' this spring. It pays to have a buddy in the vinyl business :)
It'll look something like this:

Cool, I have my first name on the mountain bike, probably whole name on the road bike, and a kermit sticker on the single speed. I like the flag, nice touch!

Yup - ALL my bikes have my name on them! DH orders the decals for each new ride. I have different fonts and colors as well, depending on my bike color scheme.

I'd like to put my bike's name on my bike. At least one of my bikes, anyway.
Flosshilde really needs her name on her top-tube.

Well, now I know how it was that I rode a Panasonic road bike with a decal reading "Bullshit." One of the perils of getting hand-me-downs from my brother, I suppose.
The bike, one I rode in the 70s, is still around; I Freecycled it a few years ago, and see it occasionally in the bike rack at a Metro station. The decal makes it quite distinctive; there is not another bike out there like it!

I found Speedy Signs (http://new.speedysigns.com/letteringtool/index/index/product_id/31990/) and I think I will give their lettering a try. LOTS of font and color options, outlines, shadows, etc. They actually have a swirly font that will perfectly match the very subtle swirls in the white portion of my paint. So I think I will have "Oby" done in orange with white outline, about 2"x1". Not yet sure where I will put it...I'll probably order 2 so that I can do one on each side.

My road bike has *her* name on the top tube. I have not yet bought one for my tri bike and my commuter hasn't revealed it's name to me yet.

I just ordered a name decal for my bike, I think. In the meantime I have a small yellow star for each metric century I have done, a small red star for each century, and a decal showing a scattering of nails to indicate a "tough as nails" award the cross country ride I did last year.
