Earlier today in the Olympic torch flame relay, one participant was cycling with the burning torch. He did have to cycle up a 7% grade hill (on Adanac St. to near Highway 1), hanging with one hand onto handlebar.
Managed to get photos of flame by canoe and elsewhere. (http://thirdwavecyclingblog.wordpress.com/2010/02/12/2010-winter-olympics-a-vancouver-people-movement-laboratory/) You can see BIGGER photos in blog. Not sure why my photos here are automatically quite small. Anyway..
