Just picked it up this morning. 2009 Ruby Compact. I am in luuuuurve.

The LBS even threw in a pair of new Specialized road shoes. I am bouncing off of the walls.

Thank you! I am nervous about switching from a triple to the compact because I live in a very mountainous area, but I am sure it will work out just fine. I wish it wasn't snowing today so I could get out and ride it!

The sun was shining for just a few short minutes, so I took her for a tiny spin around the neighborhood. Hooooooly cow. I cannot believe the difference between an aluminum frame and a carbon frame. Quite zippy I must say.

That was my sentiment exactly. I went from an aluminum bike to my carbon and was AMAZED at the speediness and much smoother ride the Ruby provided.

Love your new baby! And how very nice of the LBS to throw in shoes. That is a huge bonus. How are the two are you doing?! ;)

:) I posted a bit of an update a while back about my frustration actually. I am getting a proper fit at my LBS when I get back from vacation and hopefully that will alleviate some of the issues I have been having. Other than that, we are still plugging along and getting to know one another better.
