Wow! That's really cool. It would work running too.

Don't let the folks on the bicycle haters page see that. They would just consider it a better target!

I've seen those vests in action. They are very visible indeed.

I've seen them also, and thought they were not nearly as visible as the cyclists wearing full screaming yellow vests. Maybe the ones I saw had low batteries.

Three or four of us in the local bike club got some of those vests, or vests pretty close to that last winter and tried them out on night rides and commuting. They work pretty well as far as visibility goes, but the durability leaves a bit to be desired. What I mean by that is that the wiring comes loose easily, leaving you in the dark. Battery life was okay... getting about a week to a week and a half's commuting out of a 9-volt battery.

I got one of those vests several Christmases ago.

I still haven't worn it yet, but who knows, one day.
