Any one been here? What's the experience if you have? Are they totally kinda snobby or they pretty chill and cool?
Thinking I might stop and check em out next week when I'm playing hookey :)

Definitely worth checking out. Chad is pretty cool, and there's a ton of eye candy in there. You should call to be sure they'll be open. The hours seem erratic.

Thanks, MP. I was hoping (and figuring) you'd answer the call :p
Just what I need.. more eye candy..

For a while, he had a bunch of his Pegoretti frames on display at the gelato shop across the street. They made beautiful art.

Went to the shop.
Man, they are a cool bunch of guys. I didn't know what to expect since they're such a high end shop but Chad, Kris and Woody were all there and they were really down to earth and friendly.
Lots of drool worthy bikes in there but I'm kinda stuck on the Pegs.. dang..
Small shop. I almost didn't find them because they're in the back of this little building. It's not a big shop but they've got great stuff.
Anyway, wanted to write up a report for anyone else that might be interested.

Super nice shop for sure. He recently re-did it and expanded and it is amazing. Plus he has a Ducati in the store as well.
Since my bike was stolen, I am considering options for a replacement. They didn't have the frame I wanted, though, so I will probably get it from a dealer in PA. Still they have some amazing stuff in there. His wife took us out to the van and showed us his other Ducati as well, the non street legal race bike. Super nice. And the bike Dario built for her is absolutely astounding. It has the ciavette paint scheme - one of a kind, designed on a "Latin jazz" theme.
Art.

Cool, give me a yell if you head down to PA this week and have time for a cup of coffee, I work nearby in Redwood City.

Oh sorry - I meant PA as in Pennsylvania, not Palo Alto.
But next time I head to RC or (our) PA for work I will shoot you an email.... :)

Serious droolitude.
(Oh, and while we're sort of on the subject, the generally accepted acronym for Redwood City is RWC. I cannot tell you how many times I would be wondering what was this Redwood City team you were talking about in the context of TNT, when you were actually talking about the Redwood Wine Country team :o).

I'm just here to confuse you with my acronyms.
You should actually see the "spider" paint job on the Responsorium in person. The top tube has little places where the stainless steel shows through and these little pink dots around it. Hard to describe but SO cool. And no, that's not the frame I am getting. :D

I agree. The Spider didn't really impress me .. until I saw it in the shop. Now it'd be one of the paint jobs I'd consider.
Go girl. The Peg is like a fine wine. Well done. (but i'd be afraid to leave it anywhere. can you ride with those CIA handcuffs on the tt?? )
I really like Chad's Franz paint. It's one of my faves.
Will Chad/Kris be building up the frame for ya? Their final products look dang sweet but I'm not sure I can afford their taste :)
Very excited for you. Would love to hear your ride report and SEE PIX!

No. I am going to have Tony at Bicycle Odyssey build it for me. I would have had him do the whole bike, but he doesn't deal Pegoretti anymore.
