I just got a PM from her and she's been in the hospital since Thanksgiving. Feel better and get home soon. The holidays are no time to be sick.

The last time I was in hospital I had to share a room with an ornery old woman named Ms. Tibbs who played the TV all night long, usually tuned to an infomercial for exercise equipment:eek:

Thank You ALL so much... I've barely been online in the past month and just saw this... this board rocks! :)

I just got back on the road... yippee! 5 miles friday, 10 saturday and 16 miles today, though having to be happy about doing such a short amount is really frustrating. I'm amazed how weak I am and how much muscle I've lost. My heart rate was soaring and I felt like I was going to throw up today... yes, getting sick stinks!

but at least I'm finally getting better :)
(it was slow going for awhile - whew!)
