I thought it got too busy with the octopus, too, and I couldn't really tell if it was an intentional homage to "Life in Hell" or not. But it's a cool idea, both the mural and photographing his progress!

Think this was the little boy who always got in trouble for coloring on the walls with his crayons?;) I didn't like the octopus either. The video was really clever. Thanks for sharing.
