For myself, 4'11" female. Probably have to be a Titus. Any leads, please email me at mitymouse65@yahoo.com thanks!

Hiya mm35

Yup - a Titus I think. I have an XXS & am about 5'1" - I did a lot of research & it was definitely the smallest I could get. Someone on this forum got the same bike & her SO swapped out the wheels for 24" (he was a mechanic so knew how to make it work). I emailed her privately as I considered it & she said the bike rode well.

By the way - don't be fooled by the standover height posted on the Titus website (unless they have changed it since I bought mine) - apparently the measurement is way out & is nowhere near as low. When I challenged them, they said the measurement was actually where the top tube met the seat tube - I challenge anyone to standover at that point . . . Even given that, the Titus is still the smallest high quality mtb out there. Of the Santa Cruz I think I remember that the smallest blur actually has a slightly lower standover height than the smallest Juliana - but both bikes are still bigger than the Titus.

There are other options.

Rocky Mountain makes a XXS element that is tiny.

Yeti made an XXS ASR last year (no more aluminum ASRs this year :( ) you could look on Jenson for a new one (Jenson got all of Yeti's stock I believe) or keep your eyes peeled for one for sale. I own one of these...it's smaller than a Titus with respect to both effective top tube and standover if I remember correctly, but it's going to be hard to find :(.

And certainly Titus as well.

Just remembered:

Giant's XS women's Cypher is pretty compact and has excellent standover for an extra-small. Could be worth a look if you want a little more travel (or slightly less cash outlay)

You might also want to check out the KHS line. They have a Alite 2000 and 3000 that are very reasonable in price, and offer a 15" frame. ( that particular size has a standover height of 28.... not sure where you fall with that) In the model below that, the Alite 1000 they offer a 13" frame with a standover height of 27.3.

Good luck in your search:o

I am 5' 1" (on a good day) and have a 2008 xs womens Giant anthem (w). It fits me great. To give you an idea I ride about a size 43-44 cm road bike, and have a hard time finding a tri bike to fit me. There is nothing about me that is "long"- as in "long arms, but short torso, or short torso long legs, or long torso short legs. No I am just short from top to bottom.
Hope this helps.

I am actually thinking about selling my anthem, as I don't ride mtn enough to justify keeping her. If anyone out there is interested, let me know.
