ISO arm warmer recommendation

Now that we're into November, I need to be prepared for when my family starts asking me what I want for Christmas. So I'm working on my list.

One thing I'm thinking about is a new pair of arm warmers. Specifically I'm looking for a pair that would be good for when it's just a little chilly, like for late spring rides after work (temps in the 60s or low 70s without much sunshine to warm things up). I already have one pair of arm warmers but they're a bit too heavy for what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

But after re-reading the description they might be more for keeping cool than keeping warm. Does anyone know?

I love my Craft arm warmers. I've used them on chilly spring/fall and even summer mornings with just a short-sleeved jersey...and then I've also used them as another layer underneath my base layer on cold mornings. They seem to have a bit of compression in them, which I like. They also have a silicone gripper strip at the top to keep them in place.

I have the arm skins. They are a knit but I can wear them on very hot days. They are 'thick" as such but I would try and look at a black pair. I wear mine infrequently but a friend who wears them often they have turned grey. Or maybe look for another colour than white.

A lightweight Terry bolero would probably work for you but it would take up more room in your jersey pocket after you shed it.

TE used to sell some Castelli arm warmers that were lightweight. The Sheila Moons might be a little more substantial than you want (I have a pair from a few seasons ago -- I like them but they are warmer than the Castellis).

To the OP....my old arm warmers (Bellwether...do they even exist any more?) are nearly stretched beyond all usefullness. Since I've gotten a Terry bolero, I rarely wear them any more. I prefer the bolero. Only downside is, I have not mastered taking it off while riding. On the plus side, if you take it off, but find you still are chilled, you can put it back on. I find with the arm warmers, they're sort of a "one use" thing...and never stay up again, once I take them down, until they go through the wash. But, again, maybe it's just because mine are ancient.

I don't have that trouble with my arm warmers at all. They get washed, oh, I don't know, once every 5-6 rides. :o I'll often pull them back up after I've pushed them down during a ride, and they stay up fine.

Both my pairs are PI, but I have a pair of wool (http://www.pearlizumi.com/product.php?mode=view&pc_id=136&product_id=1151003&outlet=) ones and a Thermafleece (http://www.teamestrogen.com/prodPI_9251.html) pair.

I also have a pair of the DeSoto arm coolers (http://www.teamestrogen.com/prodDE_AC5.html), and they do fit kind of strangely, but they stay up just as well when they're clean as when they're dirty.
