Hi ladies,

I got a new commuter bike and named her Tapioca. Unfortunately, I cannot put studded tires on her, but I rode her on slick roads all week - to my endless entertainment. I did buy some knobby tires for her, and she needs fenders. Here is a link to the album (hopefully): http://picasaweb.google.com/ginnyschmit/20091101?feat=directlink She is a felt curbside. I think she is meant for the urban hipsters (which I so am not), but she is light and sturdy, and super fun to ride. She is either single speed or fixie with a flip flop hub. I don't think I will ever flip the hub and will only ride single speed. Now, I can begin saving for my real dream bike: a Luna *drool*

I think it's a wrench for removing the wheels.

Oh, of course (the rear wheel).

See how un-hip I am?

it is a wrench and also... wait for it... a bottle opener :D

I actually think I'll take it off. Like I said totally not urban hip, and when I ride to the brewery's down in Fort Collins, they don't have bottles

thanks everyone. I almost didn't post her pict because she's a single speed with a flip flop hub and could be a ..... fixie *gasp* ... she's fun though, and sassy. I like her, and I'm happy to have the weight down on my commuter :D
