..well, the police plan to rent at least 50. Was at a LBS when they answered the call from the fuzz. I was buying a tire (Schwabe Marathon Plus). :)
Given the number of road closures around downtown locations for the opening, closing ceremonies, plus public gathering stage areas, there's probably going to be EMS (paramedics) that have to be around ...whether or not bikes...
Real closures will begin in earnst after Jan. 1. Also affects some heavy bike commuter routes.
